Vibha's Talent for a Reason

I have always taken part in Vibha's events over the years and love the work they do and the cause they support.  Vidhya Dhanam is the most precious of all dhanams because it has to potential to change the trajectory of a person's entire life. 

Sahana and I are using my passion for dancing to give back to the world and we are pledging to send 20 kids to school next year through Vibha.  A brighter future through formal education! It only takes $17 per child per year to support a kid through Vibha's projects.  That's less than the price of a large pizza and a drink.  

We are going to take to the stage at the Kite Flying Festival's "Talent for a Reason" Stage.  Come watch us and other teams perform on May 4th. Will you please support us in reaching our pledge goal?   No amount is too small.  Thank you with all our hearts for your generosity and kindness!!!

VIBHA

Vibha is a non profit with focus areas in Children's health and education.  It was established in 1991 in the USA, is almost completely volunteer run and has poured more than $17 million into carefully chosen and handpicked projects, impacting over 2 million children.  

For instance, The Door step school in Mumbai is an NGO that converts school buses into classrooms and drives to construction sites so as to provide education for migrant construction workers’ children.  Sikshana in Bengaluru, works with government schools to accelerate motivation levels and parental involvement to improve scores and retention rates. Alamb works with girls on Vocational training- a crucial intervention that prevents early marriage for girls.  The list goes on and on...
